Obituary of Doreen Yvonne Newing

Following a lengthy illness Doreen (Dode) passed away on June 23, 2016 at the Morris General Hospital at the age of 69 years. Doreen is survived by sons: Robert (Bernice) and Scott (Shannon); grandchildren: Corey (30), Christina (27), Joshua (26), Jessie (00), Austin (14), Cole (9), and Breanna (7); great grandchildren: Micheal (9), Scott (7), Ariella (3) and Eli (1); brother William (Bill) (Charlene) and her beloved pets Ladybug, Goofy (Floyd), Keecoe and Nanook. Doreen was predeceased by her father William (2004), mother Margaret, sister Hazel and her son Darryl (2013). Mom loved animals, her pets were her life. She spent countless hours helping animals, and finding great forever homes for them. The family would like to thank the staff of the Morris General Hospital, friends, neighbors, organizations and her community in Dominion City where she loved to live. In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Doreen may be made to the Pembina Valley Humane Society.
