Obituary of Felicien Bouchard

Peacefully Phil passed away March 5, 2017 at the Repos Jolys in St. Pierre, Manitoba at the age of 94 years. Phil is survived by his loving wife of 63 years Connie (nee DeFries) and their children: Sheldon (Pauline) Their children: Sacha (Sohan) Jammu (their daughter: Sonali), Céleste and Yannick Deborah (Russell) Hildebrand Their children: Steven (Krista) (their children: Max and Mya), Monica (Dave) Simmonds (their children: Carter, Kyle and Jessica) Bridget (Philippe) Chartier Their children: Rémi, Luc, Nadine (Jacques) Bouchard (their children: Réanne and Tristan), Vanessa (Robert) Bouchard (their children: Gabrielle and Céline). Maryse (Gérald) Lafond Their children: Melanie (Josh), Sheldon (Elly) Lafond (their children: Sadie and Seth). Farrell (Carmen) Their children: Natasha, Megan (Justin) Collette, Ashley (Justin) Poirier (their children: Annika and Calem). Dad loved his family, especially the little ones. He enjoyed music, dancing and numerous sports. He had a wonderful sense of humour, and laughter followed him where ever he went. He showed an entrepreneurial spirit as the owner of a store. Though living apart, his heart was always with his devoted wife Connie. He was loved and will be missed by all. A celebration of life gathering will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at 2:00pm at the Aubigny Community Centre. A private family inurnment will take place at the Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. The family wishes to thank the staff at the Repos Jolys, where he resided the last two years, the staff at the Chalet Malouin and the staff at the St. Pierre Hospital for their kindness and compassion they always have shown. In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Phil may be made to the Parkinson Society of Canada.
