We were so sad to hear of Aunt Ollie. It is always too soon to have someone leave us. She was always so full of life and met it head on with love and humor. I think she looked for the best that life had to offer and saw the best in people too. We always had good visits with lots of laughs and good memories. Her family was most important to her and I know she will be forever fondly loved and remembered.

We always at all times would call her Grandma. Grandma what can I say, you were like no other ordinary Grandma. What she did made us laugh and smile and I had a blast seeing her. She was the kind of person who believed in teasing us and giving us a hard time in a fun loving way. This was her way of saying she really loved us. I will always miss you and you will always be a big part of my heart.

Our family can only imagine your family’s sorrow. Ollie was a special lady. The first time we met was at one of Pat and Andy’s bbq’s. She was bright and fun but most of all so friendly and welcoming. You see we are not family but neighbours. As she mingled through the huge family gathering always smiling, one could see how much she enjoyed the occasion and how beloved she was to her family. The present is such a loss but what loving memories she left for you all

Dear family, Pat and siblings, it is heartbreaking to hear of the passing of your Mom. When ever I was over to your home on Stella Walk, your Mom always made me feel welcome and I was part of the family. It's no wonder, I was always there. Sending my deepest sympathy to you and yours. Love Patti Mondor

Hugs to Helen, Barry, Patsy, Ron, Lindsay and their families. I was saddened to hear of aunt Ollie's passing. Enjoyed the visits when her and Barry would come through Wynyard. A very caring, generous lady. Loved her hugs!

On behalf of my mom (Nini) and our whole family, we wish to extend our deepest sympathy to Barry, Lynsay and the rest of the Leonard family on the passing of who we called "Grandma" Ollie. My mom will miss her "heart" friend and she is so glad to have met such a wonderful lady.
I remember the first time I met her, she was getting prepped for her heart surgery back in 2009. There was a bunch of her family by her side and as the elevator opened to let her bed in, she laughed and said "Is this the green mile?" I thought, "wow, what a great sense of humour!". Then later on in the waiting room, I was so touched to see so much of her family by her side.
My mom and her grew close as the years went and I got the honour to get to know her and some of her family. She really was quite lovely, very thoughtful and funny.
