To all of the family mourning the loss of Edwin ... how sad we feel as you try to endure your profound loss. It sounds as though he led a spiritually fulfilling life, and thats so commendable. It’s hard to watch those we care about struggle with their health. One thing that really helps us is a promise in the bible, at Isaiah 33:24, where it says that soon there will come a time when no one living on this earth will say “I am sick” ever again. Earth will be a place of perfect health and life, as it was meant to be from the start. That promise is what keeps us going personally, as we too, have lost friends & relatives due to sickness, old age, and death. So at difficult times as this, just meditating on an unending, happy life in the paradise earth promised in Luke 23:43 and Revelation 21:4, during a time and place where those we’ve lost will be brought back to life again. We hope this sure promise keep you going too. Take good care.
