Obituary of Marguerite Claire Berard Roy

Our mom, left us peacefully in St. Jean Baptiste on May 31, 2020 with her family by her side at the age of 87 years old. She lived a full and wonderful life. Mom will be lovingly remembered by her three sons: Gérald (Diane), Richard (Viviane) and Yves (Carol). She also leaves behind seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, five sisters and one brother-in-law. She was predeceased by her first husband of eighteen years, Paul Émile Bérard and her second husband of thirty-five years, Alfred Roy. As well by her two brothers, one sister and several in-laws. Flowers, gardening, baking, travelling and spending time at the cottage were among her greatest passions. Those who knew Mom knew she hated being fussed over and would rather give then receive. Respecting mom’s wishes there will be no funeral service. A private celebration of life will be held by her immediate family at a later date. The family would like to thank the staff at Cancer Care, Palliative/Home Care and the Morris funeral home. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the charity of your choice.
