Dear Lucy, Rudy, Rhonda, Chuck, Phyllis, Polly, Russ and all our your families.
Just wanted to let you know that I am thinking of you all, as you say goodbye to this beautiful amazing lady you had the privilege of calling mom.
I can still see her, standing in the kitchen, holding a cup of coffee, while Polly and I stated our ‘case’ as to why we should be allowed to do something. And just when we thought we’d won her over to our side, she’d slowly give us that little smile and a flat No. And being a true Miller that was final. No negotiations, no explanations, no what if’s, just no.
That beautiful smile will be brightening up heaven now.
