Mel and Judy Dueck wish to extend our condolences to the whole Cornelsen family at the loss of Art. I (Mel) worked for him on the farm as a young boy, when I quickly learned about his work ethic and resolve to get things done. Art also framed our basement approximately 31 years ago. I was particularly touched with his sensitive caring nature when Art and Rose dropped in approx. 2 years ago to say hello to myself, Judy and our whole family. It was unexpected, however awesome. We will all miss him. We have had the opportunity to become close friends with Cam and Pam. Great fruit does not fall far from the tree. Our prayers are with you at this time. Mel and Judy Dueck

I well remember that smile. I never quite knew if he was thinking of getting into mischief or just was happy to see us. I feel sorry for you as children that even though he was not in good health, you still had a parent. This will bring many changes to your life. I pray that you will find solace in knowing that he now is healed and rejoicing with GOD.

Anne and i would like to extend our condolences to the family during this very difficult time. Art was good customer and we dealt several times through the years. I remember when i sold him a tractor and other equipment. He was good to deal with and we had some good sharing and fellowship time. May God give you strength.

Art was a true passionate man of God and I had the privilege of working for him, and his son Cam, back in the late 80s. He mentored me well, especially when to get out of the way and let God be God (Psalm 46:10). One memory that I will always have is when we were pouring concrete for the walls of a basement when five snap ties broke, like a domino effect, and right away the three of us knew that money was pouring out onto the ground. I watched as Art and Cam jumped to face the crisis and they knew what to do. I didn’t, but I knew that I just had to get out of the way. I’ll always remember that. Face the crisis and if you have to get out of the way, get out of the way and let God deal with it. Good memories and good advice that I have carried for over 30 years! I look forward to talking with him, about these memories when we meet in Glory!

We will never forget this dear man. He was a mentor during my trustee days, the perfect boss in construction days, and a great friend who brought joy and laughter to Laura and myself. Above all, he was a man of God.
We will miss him but, because of what Christ has done, we know we will see Art (and Rose) again.
We are praying for the comfort of his family.

Lorn & Laura
