Obituary of Andrea Jean Anderson

It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Andrea Anderson beloved sister, aunt, great-aunt, and dear friend at her home, on Thursday, February 4, 2021. Andrea was born on July 17, 1953 at the Morris General Hospital to Glenn and Ellen Anderson. She lived in the family home until August 2019 when she moved to Rebecca Cove with our eldest brother. It took some convincing to get them to leave their house, but she was so glad she did. She loved her apartment and her neighbors, who she really enjoyed visiting with. Andrea loved her family fiercely, and was a caregiver to her nieces, nephews as well as her parents, in their later years. She was an exceptional gardener, and many people would stop in while walking by, to admire her beautiful flowers. Over the years she loved and cared for many cats and dogs. She was kind and caring, smart and funny, and with her passing, left a hole in our hearts that only the memories will heal, in time. Andrea was predeceased by her parents. She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law Glenda and Les Funk and their children Dave(Kellie)Funk, Mike(Sherry) Funk and Caitlin (Alex) Hartin; brothers Dave Anderson, Ron Anderson and our forever sister, Midge Anderson. She is also survived by nieces Angi (Brad) Day, Michelle(Denis) and Leanne (Adam) Petrin, and by great-nieces and great-nephews: Mattie, Miranda and Sebastian Day; Kimber, Brooke and Martine Munford; Tanner and Travis Petrin; Ethan, Achilles and Jayden Funk; Corey Collette and Tyson Funk; and Finley Hartin. Andrea, you leave us all with the memory of a life so beautifully lived and a heart so deeply loved. Rest easy, dear sister.
