My heartfelt condolences to Marion, to her family and to Linda for the passing of Barry. His mother and mine were 2 of 6 sisters. As cousins, Barry and I grew up under the watchful eyes and tender care care of our parents and extended family. Many fond memories of the past.
Wishing the family members strength and comfort through this difficult time.
Cousin Terry Picken and family.

We enjoyed talking with Barry and Marion at the Morden Friday Flyday before the pandemic. We have thought about him over the past year or so, knowing that his health wasn’t that good and we’re sorry to hear of his passing. Our condolences to Marion and family, Rick Walls and Sheryl from Springfield Flying Club, Lyncrest.

Dear Marion & family,
Our deepest condolences on Barry's passing. I have many fond memories going back to the 70's of family snowmobiling days spent on the Morris River & pot luck suppers at Barry & Marion's. I served along side Barry as a member of the Sperling Rink Board for many years. Barry rarely missed a meeting and contributed his time as the "egg fryer" at Rink breakfasts. He was proud of and spoke often of his family. Barry will be greatly missed.

Barry was a very dedicated council representative who contributed to the discussions in a thoughtful and cheerful manner. Barry served the RM of Morris residents on council for almost 15 years. His passion for the responsibilities of council work was always evident. Just a very genuine and modest kind of guy who was always willing to engage in conversation about council work, family or life in general. Great guy and a very real person. I will miss Barry's contribution at the council table. Condolences to Marion, family, and friends.

Dear Marion and family. I am so sad to hear of the passing of Barry. I truly enjoyed working alongside with him at the RM of Morris office. You could always count on Barry for his daily visits, talking about how proud he was as a husband, parent and especially showing off pictures of his grandchildren. His laughter was contagious and he was always so willing to volunteer his time with RM events! You could always count on Barry!
My sincerest condolences to you all!

Our sincerest condolences to you Marion and family! We are so sadden to hear of your loss! It was a joy to serve on council with Barrie for twelve years! He was so passionate in his service! In our free time he shared many interesting stories, so proud of his family, always soft spoken and I think that little chuckle was his trademark! Though we served the whole municipality, Barrie had a special soft spot for the Sperling area that he knew so well! Some day we will meet again!
