Obituary of Roxanne Louise Fillion

Sadly, health problems finally caught up with Roxanne and unexpectedly, yet peacefully, she went to sleep for the last time on the morning of July 28th at the age of 61 at the Morris General Hospital. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Gilbert, daughter Giselle; siblings Maureen, Kevin (Jan), Blaine (Catherine), Darryl (Janice),Trevor (Fran) and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father Thomas and her mother Jean. She had a big heart and an innate ability to remember the small details about her family and friends. She was creative and family members have ceramic pieces she proudly made. She enjoyed passing the time playing solitaire, colouring detailed images, completing word searches and watching cooking shows. She especially loved to go for coffee with her husband, family and friends. A special thank you to Dr. Robert (Bob) Manness and the Morris General Hospital nurses/staff who worked effortlessly to provide her with the best care during her many stays. A memorial service will take place Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at 2:30pm at the Davidson Centre in Morris, Manitoba.
