I knew Judy as a very young child
I babysat her and her two brothers when her dad and mom lived at the Willow Ridge school… Even then Judy was always full of life.
I last saw Judy when she was a young adult -
My parents, Hilda and Dan Hildebrand, became good friends with her parents, as a result of the Willow ridge connection.
My thoughts are with Paul and her family

Judy was the best thing that ever happened to my brother Frank. She was his anchor. When Frank and her first met, she told my Father, "I love your son and I will always "take care" of him. Judy did look after Frank and I had never seen him happier.
My heart aches for everyone, including myself, that she touched with her special magic.
Love you Judy... to the moon and back.
Till we meet again...
Sister-In-Law, Colleen

Judy was always smiling and a bright spot in any crowd. She had a great sense of humor and could make anybody laugh. Judy and my sister Sandy we’re like two peas in a pod when they were younger. She even came sailing with our family up the cost of BC from Vancouver. We always enjoyed visiting their family because everyone was so funny & well natured. She was one of my favorite cousins and I still use one of her little sayings “ let’s not and say we did“ My prayers go out to the family for God‘s peace and comfort.IJN Amen

To Frank, Jeremy, Carly, Paul and Judy’s entire family. What a shock. I have so many wonderful memories that I don’t know where to begin. I have one in particular that makes me smile. It was on my 40th birthday and I woke up to my front yard covered in bras with sign that said “Happy 40th Birthday Tammy, we support you!” My neighbors where taking pictures it was crazy. Her and Andrew came into Winnipeg from Rosenort the night before to do this. I don’t know if we were already in bed or what but what a surprise.
She definitely knew how to have fun and to make people smile and happy. She was an amazing mother too. I miss you so much Judy but I know you are so happy to see Andrew, your mom and Bigga.
Frank, Jeremy and Carly you and the rest of the family are in our prayers during this trying time.
We love you, Herb, Tammy and family.

Judy’s family and friends, I’m so very sorry for your loss. Judy was two grades ahead of me in school, and her popularity and healthy skepticism of authority intimidated me, but I admired her vivaciousness: her eyes twinkled with mischief and humour, and she’d spontaneously burst into laughter or song in the old Collegiate hallway or on the bus ride home. On one occasion, in her graduating year, she treated her fellow bus passengers to an exuberant rendition of “Old Mrs. Bliss went out to piiiiiiick some pretty flowers….” That memory still makes me smile.

It was heartbreaking to hear of Judy's passing. Her beautiful smile always made you feel so welcome. She was such a kind and caring person. Our lake family will never be the same. We will cherish the times we spent together. The times by the fire, playing games and a little dancing too! We will miss her deeply.

To the family of Judy. Words can never express the loss of one so dearly loved. Paul, I am so sorry you lost both your mother and your sister so close together (I don't know what happened to David). Frank and family, I knew Judy through school. We rode the same school bus from 1975 to 1982. I do not know the loss of a spouse or child, however, I can empathize with unexpected loss. By grace and faith, the Lord will keep you in His righteous right hand until you are able to stand on your own again.

I remember Judy as a little ray of sunshine growing up. Our moms were first cousins and we spent a lot of wonderful times with our cousins in the country. Love to all of you at this difficult time. Another Angel has earned her wings.

How could I possibly put in words how much Judy means to me. We were cousins that grew up together in the summertime as sisters. We both had older brothers. I loved her smile, laughter and admired her courage. She came up with all kinds of energy and fun ideas. Whatever it was we were in it together! There were many adventures and some naughty exploits too! I remember when we flooded the sandbox in her back yard. I remember my dad telling her sailing in Hawaii not to walk on the coral in barefoot. Her passing reminds us that our lives are but a short vapor Ps 39:4. We have to love and appreciate people while they are with us. Judy loved people deeply and was generous. Many times she would send me letters and packages of Canadian goodies. We often shared our dreams for the future. We planned our weddings having tea parties. We laughed and stayed up all night until Auntie Charlotte came in to quiet us down. I always felt like one of the family in her home.
Judy we remember you with great love in our hearts and many fond memories. Our love and prayers are with Frank Jeremy and Carly and all your family at this time. May God’s perfect peace be yours.
Love, Sandy ( Sandra) and John Kopalchick and family

So very sad to hear about Judy. I have so many fond and funny memories of our youth together but all the strength she had to face so much loss and grief in her adulthood. That smile….so friendly, so mischievous, so warm. Love you Judy. Thinking of your family.
