Our family had the good fortune of being neighbours of the Watts on the farm. Brian and Evelyn were our school bus drivers for all of the six children in our family. Evelyn (Mrs. Watt to us!) always got us home a little earlier than Brian, and gave those sitting in the back a few more fun bumps along the way home. Evelyn worked at the school we attended, and always offered us words of encouragement when she saw us in the halls. Evelyn had only kind words and lived by the adage "if you don't have anything good to say, don't say anything at all." As close childhood friends of their daughter Margie, many of us spent time over at the Watt's and saw first hand that Evelyn's was a hard-working, force of nature. She was a wonderful neighbour, and someone who made a difference in the lives of others. We have so many good memories to hold onto. We wish Brian, Alec, Margie and their families our deepest condolences.
