Obituary of Luc Collette

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Luc of Gimli, on Saturday January 28, 2023. Luc is lovingly remembered by his family; his wife of 40 years Jacqueline Collette (nee Robert), daughter Angèle Collette-Greenaway (Shane), son, Jean-Pierre (Nikita) and grandchildren Asher and Oaklynn. Brothers and sister, Aurèle (Patty), Solange (Gèrald), Jacques (Heather), Louis (Marie). Also the Robert family, Leo, Nicole (Lawrence), Patrick, Jo-Anne (Dale). He is also remembered by numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Roland and Vivienne Collette, his brother Renè (Murielle). His in-laws that predeceased are Elie and Cecile Robert and sister-in-law Rose. The funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Maurice Roman Catholic Church in Morris, Manitoba on Saturday February 11th at 11:00am. Inurnment to follow at the Morris Cemetery. All are invited to a reception following the burial of the urn, at the Morris Emmanuel Baptist Church. 220 Lucinda Street, One block west of the St. Maurice Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Luc to the Manitoba Mental Health Association.
