Dear Sharon
So sorry to hear about Dave. Please know I am thinking about you and Matthew going through the grieving process as I have lost 3 siblings in the last 4 years and know that it is a long and painful road at times. I always had a special place in my heart for Dave as he was the first one to hire me after my husband left and I know that he felt sorry for me at the time. I think I started out wallpapering one wall in your rec room [Lakewood Park] and ended up working in almost every room !
Please take care of yourself

Dear Sharon
My heart aches for you over the loss of Dave
He was truly a special person and I considered him my best friend and brother. I will always remember the good times we had together. Coffee at Tim's, talking about our love of the Leafs as our favourite hockey team and wondering if this would be the year that they would win the Stanley cup again. Well my buddy if they win this year you will definitely have a front row seat. Go Leafs Go.
I know my kids, Kevin, Sherry & Denise considered him as their uncle and they lovingly called him Uncle Dave.
I will truly miss him but I know I will see him again in Heaven.
My deepest sympathies and prayers are with you through this loss.
My God watch over you and comfort you.
All my love
LES

Aunt Sharon, I’m so sorry for this great loss in your life. Uncle Dave was a very sweet and supportive man. He loved you dearly.
One of my most recent memories is a year and a half ago, when you both met me at the Winnipeg airport in between a flight home from seeing Mom & Dad. Uncle Dave was so intent on making sure I got a good meal and was well taken care of. He didn’t go through a drive thru, he went to the airport hotel and picked up a nice meal for me. You both drove an hour to and from the airport to connect with me for a short time.
I have many memories of times we all spent together as family over the years. Anytime I went back to Muskoka to visit my parents or Nanna, we always met up for a coffee which always included lots of laughter.
My deepest sympathies to you as your grieve. I’m praying for you and am sending my love.
