My condolences to Barb’s friends and family. She was a real treasure to Morris. Her energy came through every phone call, meeting and even a wave of hello. She always left me feeling informed and ready to improve the latest project. Her sense of history was a marvel and she was always ready to connect me to the right person to help our charity. (Of course, her name was in the minutes to contact after our last board meeting!) You slipped away too soon, dear friend…

So sorry to hear this. Barb and I worked together at The Scratching River Post newspaper and Every Woman magazine. She and Brian were a lovely couple and Barb made an excellent goat curry. But she was also first to admit that her homemade zucchini wine was not very good. Too much carbonation and weird flavour. Anyway, Barb is missed.

So sorry to hear of Barbara's passing. I was able to get to know Barbara on or trip across Canada. Such a caring wonderful woman. She was full of stories about her travels with Brian. We were distant relatives thru the Livingston family. She did not realize that Sheldon Livingston that had passed in Morris in a house fire was also related to her. We had a great time taking her out for a few meals. I will miss her greatly. I've been in England for the last 3 months and just heard of her passing. My heart goes out to her family and friends in you time of need.

My sincere condolences to Barbara's family and friends. I got to know Barbara in the 1980s when we were both working as newspaper reporters for The Scratching River Post in Morris. Barbara was a gifted journalist who touched the lives of many through sharing heartwarming and inspirational stories of people and community organizations in The Post readership area. It was always a pleasure to talk with her about her large garden and her passion for organic farming.

Lifelong friend, clever, generous and she gave her whole heart to her causes and passions. I remember many a late night
conversation around a bonfire, bundled in quilts when the air cooled down but the conversation was too good to give up. The world will be a darker place without her.

Barb was a dear lifelong friend of mine…. We graduated from High School together and continued our friendship through all the years. A few years ago, Barb shared with me that she was writing songs, and asked me to help her create music for it. She and I spent many many hours collaborating to turn her beautiful work into songs. It was so much fun, and we had so many good times!! I will really miss her. She was a great friend. My sincere condolences….
