Elma was very special to me. I was told, as I started my teaching career, that there would be someone who would take me under her/his wing and help me. And that person was Elma. She was an amazing teacher and we became good friends. I modeled my approach to teaching after her’s and I came to love teaching. Often throughout my career, when faced with a situation I was unsure how to handle, I’d ask myself how would Elma handle this? She was an angel sent from God to me. I look forward to fellowshipping with her in heaven.

Ms, Brandt was my grade 2 teacher in Morris back in 1966-1967, and I adored her! She was so kind, an excellent teacher, and I thought she was so pretty! I will always have such fond memories of her, which goes to show the impact teachers can have on the children they teach, My deepest condolences to the Brandt family.

This warm & kind lady was my Grade 1 Teacher. She was any child's dream for a first year teacher. Besides teaching well, she had the gift of smoothly transitioning a child from home life into public life. One day I told her that I think my Mom is lonesome for me - she promptly called my mom to pick me up. After that I trusted her completely. I will never forget Miss Brandt. Thank You.
