Obituary of Jerrold Frank Siemens

Jerrold was welcomed into the Kingdom of Heaven after a lengthy battle with cancer, ending at Boundary Trails Health Center on Monday, September 14, 2015. Left to cherish Jerrold’s memory are his wife Marge, children Scott (Brandi), Adrian (Benita), Christopher (Melanie), Todd, and Kaitlyn, and grandchildren Kalia, Oliver, Hayden, Samuel, Daniel, and Mila. He was predeceased by grandson Ben Dominic, nephew Graham, Father Henry, and parents-in-law Jacob and Maria Jerrold was born on December 2 1958 at the Concordia Hospital in Winnipeg and grew up on the farm, working with his father and brothers. At a revival meeting in 1974 he went forward to accept Jesus into his life and was later baptised in December of 1978. He met the love of his life, Marge, in August of 1978 and a year later they were engaged to be married. Their wedding was in November, and the next summer they moved to the farm where they raised their five children and still lived together. Jerrold loved working on the farm and spent many hours with his sons and daughter building up a successful baling business. He also enjoyed working with his show call ducks and old english game bantams. In later years he got into collecting model tractors that represented his years on the fields. Throughout his life he was also very involved in his children’s Christian Private School as well as various church committees. There will be a public viewing and memorial service at the Morris Fellowship Chapel on Thursday, September 17 at 7:00 pm. The funeral service will be held at the Rosenort EMC on Friday, September 18, 2015 at 2:00 pm. Prior to the funeral a private interment will take place at the Morris Cemetery. The family wishes to sincerely thank the Cancer Care department at Victoria Hospital as well as the staff of the Boundary Trails Health Center.
