Obituary of Darlene Susan Wiebe

Darlene Wiebe, of Winnipeg, Manitoba, passed away suddenly on September 4, 2023, at the age of 59 years. Darlene is survived by her sisters, Deb, Patti (George) and family Caitlyn (Vova) and Josh (Nicole), sister in law, Lai, and extended family and friends. Darlene was predeceased by her husband Harry (2003), her mother Fay (1989), her father Rudolph (1995), and her brother Bruce (2023). Darlene grew up in a Christian home, and accepted Jesus as her Saviour at an early age. Dar had a huge heart, with room for everyone. She always looked for an opportunity to help someone with whatever they needed. She enjoyed working in the retail industry, successfully managing many different departments, and making many friends along the way. After she married her husband Harry, in 1994, she worked alongside him in his eavestrough business, and supported his music and preaching ministries. Darlene loved gardening, playing games, and hanging out with the people she loved. Dar loved going to the beach, and also fishing. Many memories were made with her sisters and niece and nephew, and also her cousins Walter, Tessa and Evan, doing those things. Darlene also enjoyed cooking and baking; some of her specialties included pies, ice cream cake, and waffles, and she enjoyed making these for family and friends. She was “Aunty” to the many kids who were part of her life. Darlene loved big and left a special mark in all of our lives, and she will be deeply missed. The funeral service for Darlene, will be held in conjunction with the service for her brother, Bruce, on Saturday, September 16, 2023, 2:00 pm, at Morris Fellowship Chapel, Morris Manitoba.
