Obituary of Joan Simpson

It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and great-grandmother, Joan Simpson, on the morning of October 2, 2023. She is lovingly remembered by her husband of 65 years Glen Simpson, their children Brian, Bridgette (Jamie), Cindy (Ray), and Glen Jr. (Jodi), their grandchildren Ryan, Kristy (Robby), Tyler (Kali), Brittany (Josh), Troy and Jaye, and their great-grandchildren Mylie and Mindy, as well as many other extended family and friends. Joan grew up in Winnipeg, Manitoba, where she met her husband of 65 years and “one true love”, Glen Simpson. Together they shared many wonderful memories, car rides, adventures, and most importantly, lovingly raised their four children. Family was everything to Joan. They meant the world to her, and she meant the world to them. She will be forever missed and never forgotten. As per her wishes, no funeral or viewing will be held. A private family gathering will take place at a later date. As Joan would always say, “See Ya Later Alligator!”.
