I am sorry to see that Gilbert has passed away. I got to know him at the Emerson Care home in 2016 when my mom was there for 8 months. What a sweet man. I know the feeling of losing a loved one 2 times, and it is hard. My thoughts and prayers are with you the family. I could tell he was a very hard working, soft hearted man who loved the farm. God Bless.

Chère Louise et familles
Thérère et moi vous offront nos sincères condoléances au départ de Gilbert.
J'ai fais connaissance avec Gilbert durant l'innondation de 1950 lorsque ma famille fut ébergée sur la ferme Fontaine. Quelle belle famille et si génereux et Gilbert était de même tout comme son père Gaspard.
Et toi, Louise, nous étions des amis de classe à l'École Secondaire de St. Jean Baptiste.
Nous vous souhaitons bon courage dans les années a venir.
