Shirley I will always remember your doll house and that Christmas scene you put together. You had so much detail and the tiny pieces you found from all over was amazing.You even had a tiny mouse to put in the attic. Even tiny nuts and bolts with the nut cracker in the basket. Was priceless. Even putting a gingerbread house together you were amazing. RIP Shirley To the family my sincerest condolences. Diane Johnston

My dear Shirley. Thank you for being part of our family. We all have been through so much in our lives, however, we have some pretty darn good memories. I certainly miss our telephone conversations. Unfortunately, we didn’t make it to Morris to see you as planned. Someday I am still going to make it out that way. RIP Shirley

This is my Nan in the news paper. She was about 19 or 20. Keeping the phone lines open in Morris during a flood. She always was really one of the best people in my life. Her no nonsense approach to life, her soundless laugh, her stubbornness and ability to make more noise than a steam engine when sneezing are just a few of the silly things I will miss. But I think her smile and her gracefulness and how much love she showed my sister and I will be the things I miss most. Not being able to be there enough these past few years to share the end of her life will be my greatest regret. And with the heaviest of hearts I say good bye Nan I will miss and love you forever.
