I remember singing as a boy soprano in the choir your mom directed in Morris United Church. She was a great director and accompanist. I remember attending Bill's birthday party at their place on the farm during the flood of "66 and what a great host your mom was. Although she is gone from this earth to be with the Lord, she is still present in many memories here!

Mrs. Dickson was a kind and loving role model for me in my younger years. She was my neighbor, my choir teacher and such a positive influence in my life. Her patience, and guidance will always be remembered. She played the organ at my wedding and we were honored when she accepted the invitation to play at my daughter's wedding as well. I will always have loving memories of this beautiful soul. I send my sincerest condolences to the family.

I was happy to see Mildred at Morris United Church’s 100th anniversary celebration - a very brief visit, as she had so many people to connect with!
I will remember her wonderful greetings, she was always so delighted to see people. I was a (part-time) member of her choir, and appreciated her encouragement as well as her joie de vivre - she was such a positive person.
Our sincere condolences to all the family - Ingrid and Neil Stevenson

We would like to send our Condolences to the Family!
We had the privilege to have Mildred play piano at our Wedding. We also had members of our Family who have had music lessons from her.

I've known Mrs. Dickson since I was a young girl, singing in the Junior Choir at Morris United, where she was the choir leader and church organist. She was a wonderful director, and taught us all so much. Later on, when she retired, she handed the organist "reins" over to me, and I spent the next 40 years as the church musician. She was always so supportive, so positive and appreciative of my efforts.
My sincere condolences to all the family.

As Mildred was a long time resident of Morris, I had many opportunities to enjoy her hospitality when I returned home at Christmas to visit friends and family. She was always welcoming and I never left without having a cup of tea. A life well lived. Please accept my condolences.

My mom Catherine Reid had dinner with Mildred when they both lived at Homestead South, my brother Bruce and Cathy and myself joined in for many a dinner. There was always lots of fun and laughter. Sorry for your loss, she was a very nice person.

Thank you so much. Mum had two pianos and an organ in her home in Morris. She had her ‘teaching’ Yamaha piano in her room at Homestead. The residents sometimes asked her to leave her door open when she was playing so they could enjoy the music as they were coming down the hall. She entertained at singalongs a few times in the common room. At Boyne Lodge they wheeled a keyboard into the living area as she liked to play for the residents in her ‘house’.
